[South Texas:]Border Patrol Agent Opens Up About Vicious Attack
KVEO ^ | March 31, 2011 | Joangel Concepcion

It's been a year since a U.S. Border Patrol agent was viciously attacked in the Upper Valley. After multiple surgeries and months of recovery he is still risking his life to protect our borders.

The agent was patrolling the border just south of McAllen back in March of 2010. He spotted a suspicious vehicle and was led on a small chase. In a split second, his life changed.

"I was ambushed by about 20 different subjects on our river banks with concrete rocks. They damaged my unit, broke my windows out," said the Agent.

One of the suspects hit him in the face with a concrete rock. It was the size of a football. The injuries to his face were severe. It required multiple surgeries and he was out of work for months. Then he did something many people wouldn't do.. he got right back to work.

The agent says he has moved on and along with thousands of other agents, he will continue to protect our borders. Since the incident Federal agencies have stepped in. Offering up a 25,000 reward for any information that may lead to an arrest...

If you have any information about this incident, you are urged to contact the FBI in McAllen at.956 984-6300

All calls will remain confidential.

Democrats are big talkers on a shutdown being to their benefit, but the longer the government shuts down the more people will realize how nonessential most government functions are. I say shut her down.

Hey dummy: wrong thread. You were supposed to be posting in the shutdown thread, not the vicious illegal alien thread. Sorry.

Where is Dubya’s flunky Johnny Sutton? We can’t have BP agents doing their job. How come Johnny isn’t trying to put him in prison with Ramos and Compean?

Where is that vile little piece of excrement Johnny Sutton? He clearly expected to be short listed to be a Federal Circuit Court appointee or an Assistant AJ. Does anyone know where his pallid cowardly person physically is?

They were just throwing the rocks that American citizens won’t throw.

What’s the problem?

I have long said that when illegals/smugglers use rocks as weapons each rock should be returned by a bullet. I really think that would end the rock issue once and for all. I know a man that works on the border fence and he said they chunk rocks at them all the time and no one is allowed to do anything to them when they do. Bullets for rocks and it will stop.

Rocks ping-pong ball size and larger are deadly weapons; throwers of them will receive return fire. (And, no, I probably won't stop to measure to see whether what they throw exceeds that minimum...)

My son and I were talking about this yesterday morning; it has made the news cycles in Phoenix.

For crying out loud, the kid was involved in a felony flight; he had rammed a BP vehicle, and was attempting to escape to Mexico to avoid apprehension. Rocks or no rocks, citizen or not, he should have had no delusions as to whether or not he may be fired upon by LEOs. Same goes for his family members who are now crying ‘Foul’.
