I almost didn't respond, some of the comments are.. interesting.

I guess it's how I was raised. Disaster is loss of life, loss of function within your person because of an accident. I was told that if you walked away alive, everything else, eventually could be fixed.

We'll agree to disagree and leave it on a polite note.

I wish everyone well who was there and that had property damage. I'm glad that in the winds and turmoil, there was no loss of life.

dis·as·ter dəˈzastər/ noun 1-A sudden event, such as an accident or a natural catastrophe, that causes great damage OR loss of life. 2-an event or fact that has unfortunate consequences. This was a disaster and by the grace of God no one was killed.
