They appear to ignore it while they hold conference call after feverish conference call, working out their response and getting all their big players on board.
Once all their ducks are in a row, they'll let loose with everything they've got.
In this case, they're going to have to either (a) get to Trump and explain to him that things will be better for him in the long run if he disappears for a while and never mentions this subject again (a long shot, I know), or (b) try to destroy Trump entirely based on dirt dug up from his past.
I assure you they are working on both of these approaches right now.
Well, you can bet that wherever the new venue for "JournoList" may be, the discussion on this topic is red-hot. No doubt they're also hoping for someone like Bill O'Reilly to take point on refuting Trump's allegations.
