Some who are in the know may be using it to blackmail the President, either explicitly or implicitly.
Obama may even have taken into account the potential that a foreign intelligence agency could release damaging documents into his decision to take military action against Libya
Others may be sitting on it, waiting for the right time to produce the documents for best leverage for themselves. Obama was so popular when first elected he could have sacrificed babys to Moloch on the White House steps. The press would have covered for him and no one would have cared anyway.
Now he is increasingly unpopular and vulnerable to attack. The sane wing of the Democrat Party is very worried about the damage Obama is doing to their careers and to a lesser extent the damage Obama is doing to the country and the world.
IMHO, one reason the Democrats went along with Obama’s full court press to cover up his past is so they could claim they were fooled just like the rest of us when the documents start to come out and show that Obama potentially has has defrauded the American people in any one of a number of ways, the birth certificate being the least of his problems.
Perhaps, for example, his misrepresenting his status as that of a (Muslim?) foreign national to get financial aid for college.
It is interesting that this issue heated up and broke the Fox News wall of silence right after Obama began supporting rebellion in Libya. The Saudis were not happy about this because it is providing momentum to rebellions by radicals in Yemen and Bahrain as well as in Saudi Arabia. The Saudis own about 40% of Fox News. Perhaps the Saudis green lighted the coverage of Obamas past because of this.
The Israelis certainly have a lot of intelligence on Obama. They are watching Obama set the stage for a war that could destroy the state of Israel
Hillary has her opposition research from 2008 that she did not use at the time.
The Republicans also have their opposition research.
Our own Intelligence Agencies may have their own information.
It will be interesting to see what comes out.
Fantastic deep analysis there, rdcbn. I hadn’t really considered all those interests and the fact that some or all may have the smoking gun proof of Obama’s ineligibility, or other embarrassing information.
