Yesterday, I watched about 5000 screaming, chanting, resentful crazies, many of whom carried signs that said “undocumented and unafraid” and “WE WILL NOT LEAVE!” take over Washington St. outside the Georgia Capitol.
The protest against HB 87 and any enforcement of American immigration laws was staged by the local “your laws do not apply to us Hispanics” crazies.
There were illegal aliens in charge of crowd control telling American citizens that they could not pass on certain sections of public - Capitol grounds - property and Capitol Police and State Patrol officers warning Americans to obey.
Most of the day-long rally was conducted in Spanish. The Capitol grounds looked and sounded like a chaotic third world barrio. In speeches, many Democrat politicians assured the raving crowd that they had a civil right to be here illegally and that help was on the way. Georgia is one of the states that can and should be able to get something done regarding illegal aliens, but it looks like things are being held up by a few who are siding with La Raza, the ACLU, etc.
There is still time to get these few in line if enough phone calls and emails are sent.

The Senator who was sponsoring the bill made mention on the radio yesterday that all this did was make him more determined to get this passed.
He also said that there were a couple million in the state that wanted to counter protest, but hey had jobs and needed to work.
