I lived in Boston for 20 years. When I moved out, I looked for towns that were at least 98% white. That was my number one priority. In a PC world, I’m not supposed to think like that — but I do, and I make no apologies.
Perhaps you’re “racist”...
or perhaps you just have common sense based on statistical analysis and experience.
Why should you have to make an apology for wanting to live where you want to live? Anyone who thinks you shouldn’t is a f**ktard.
I check crime rates before moving in. Same net effect, but it isn’t racist...
In MY neighborhood, I’m called “The TOKEN American”. It is convenient, my home town, and I plan to stay as long as I do NOT hear any of the following...
1. Loud, ANGRY voices in a foreign language.
2. Frequent police sirens. (Not for months now)
3. Gun shots at any time.
The majority of people do not relocate out of prejudice. A strong motivation is JUSTIFIED fear for family safety. People just speak of WHITE flight...how about statistics of the numbers of MINORITIES who, having the economic ability, join the flight from hell-hole cities. That would also be fascinating. Any story in the Globe is going to find a way to criticize WHITES.

The problem is that with our nation’s current immigration policies, that’s getting harder and harder to do. Our current legal (and illegal) immigration policies are so weak and so oblivious to future consequences that we’re pretty much importing our own destruction. When you allow the equivalent of the Nashville metro area to (legally) immigrate into your country annually, the vast majority of which do not speak your language, have no education, come from crime-infested nations, and who share only minimal cultural ties, you’re going to have massive problems and massive balkanization.
You’re also going to see a massive drop-off in the performance of your public education scores. There’s a reason states like Idaho, Montanta, Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and New Hampshire have our nations top test scores. That said, those states are becoming increasingly diverse, as well. Massachusetts has been amongst that group of school systems that did well in the past, as well. I’d be curious to see what happens when you see the following:
“In Massachusetts, the number of Asians and Hispanics rose 46 percent, and the black population climbed 26 percent.”
By looking at history, you’d absolutely expect school performance to rather sharply decline.
I myself moved to a predominantly white school district after our daughter was fondled by a group of minority students, our son was attacked by that same group when he tried to defend her, and was subsequently suspended from school. We’ve moved to a 99% white district. No problems. And the test scores are astronomically better here.
How long does that last? *shrugs* By the way this nation is going, not long.
In CA, I look for suburbs that are 80% white and 20% Asian (approx)—those suburbs have the top schools (well, as good as CA gets) and the best overall quality of life—
Funny, my educated upper middleclass black co-workers say the same thing, and they make no appologies either.
I live in Ma. now, waiting for my wife to retire. Then I’m moving to either SW Utah or S.Carolina.
People ask me why Utah? I say because I want to live in America. They know what I mean.
