I can’t stand cities and I’ve always preferred rural life. I think I can count the number of ‘minorities’ in our town on one hand (and I get along with them just fine, thank you).
Jefferson felt the same way:
“I view great cities as pestilential to the morals, the health, and the liberties of man.”
It really is culture and not race.
“I cant stand cities and Ive always preferred rural life.”
The problem is that many if not most want the same rules for their rural neighbors that they had in the city. I prefer that we quarantine them and prevent the spread of liberalism.
Same here, I love the rural life here in Maine. I was born in Boston and raised in Cambridge and won’t even go back to visit family, that’s how much I hate Massachusetts and the urban scene.
I don't live in Massachusetts but I do live in a rural county in which the only faces I see are white, no blacks, no browns. I've owned my house for 40 years and sometimes--for weeks--I'm not there and nothing in my house or premises has been as much as disturbed in those 40 years. Coincidence? I don't think so.
