We're taking our message to Washington, DC! And we need YOU to join us, ACLU Virginia, and thousands from across the country for a national rally and lobby day in preparation for Congressional votes on funding for Planned Parenthood, Title X family planning services, and abortion access.
Please join us for this incredibly important event. Let's show Congress that Virginia stands up for women's health! It is going to be an amazing day, so recruit some of your friends to join you for the fun! And Get on the Bus with Us!
What: Stand Up for Women's Health Rally & Lobby Day
When: Thursday, April 7, 2011
Where: Washington, DC
How: RSVP here and then Get on the Bus with Us on April 7th! Once you RSVP you will receive information about bus departure times, locations, and lobby visits. There is no charge to ride the bus, and snacks are included. The bus will make stops in Charlottesville, Richmond, and Fredericksburg. This will be our chance to let Congress hear from us about the critical importance of protecting the full range of womens health care.
Our Congresspeople need to hear their constituents voices on this issue. The timing of this day is important, because votes on budget funding for women's health will very likely be that day and votes on abortion access won't be far behind.
Stand with us as we call on our United States Senators and Representatives to stand up for Virginia and women everywhere in defeating these attacks.
REGISTER NOW TO GET ON THE BUS!
I feel I am not allowed to state what is in my mind for the fear of having the CIA, FBI and brownshirsts breaking down my door, for what is supposed to be a freedom of my speech.
Please, draw your own conclusions.....but remember, keep them to yourself.
