It’s a nightmare. I was talking to a tea party friend yesterday and was telling her that this is the first time in my life that I felt things were beyond our control. But this truly is and God Almighty is the only one that can change the course we are on. This evil is bigger than all of us and yes if the Lord ‘allows’ us to we will be instrumental in changing course, but we cannot do it without Him.
The evil is never bigger than all of us. It’s bigger than any one of us, and apart from Christ, any group of us.
Let evil do its thing. I read the last chapter, and it loses.
The rest of this is quality of life. Do I want my kids growing up in this sort of thing. Negative.
Hate is at a permanent disadvantage over Love. Hate takes a tremendous amount of energy to maintain. Love is easier, even then apathy or indifference.
Evil is having its inning. It’s proving Churchill right - nothing is stupider than voters, or worse than a democracy, except the alternatives. Perhaps that’s the real reason Obama sent the bust of Churchill back. Don’t have to look either truth or reason in the face every day.
