“I’ll give you my peanuts, especially boiled, when you pry it from my cold, dead hands!”
Thanks Charlton!
I have no problem with basic handicap accessable accommodations, but as usual, we take it to far in this country.
My sister-in-law is handicapped and lives with my wife and I, so I do have some knowledge on this issue.
All these rules and regulations in the schools get to me! Are these kids with allergies going to stay in school forever? Do they go to malls and stores and events with their parents where they might mingle with others who may have eaten a BP/jelly sandwich recently? How about a restaurant where nuts are in foods and might be eaten at a table next to them?
Doorknobs are with us always. Someone may have eaten nuts who opened the door ahead of them.
There is no way for full protection and the kid has to learn to live his life with others. He is the one who has to adapt.
I love turnip greens!!! With lots of vinegar!!
for the past 10 years I have developed food allergies to just about everything you could think of except meat and green vegetables....
but I would not dream of putting it on the rest of the planet to change for me...I take care of it myself...
So that's just my theory anyways
