It would be easy to believe that The Hero of Chappaquiddick's eternal punishment is to drive off a bridge and slowly drown over and over and over...

Years ago there was a Conspiracy Theory Museum in Dallas. Since I lived there at the time, I decided to check it out. My hubby and I were the only visitors. It was a tiny 'museum, about 1000 sq feet, with a lone proprietor/curator/employee/nutcase. The main exhibit was the Zapruder film on a continuous loop.

I had the most fun pulling the leg of the employee. He told us that 'they' (the people who killed JFK and RFK?), couldn't kill Teddy, because that would be too suspicious, so they damaged his reputation ala Chappaquiddick. This was also right after JFK Jr.'s plane crashed, and of course, that was part of the conspiracy.

'They' apparently live forever, because he also said 'they' were involved with the Lincoln asassination. He never really explained who 'they' were, though.
