Going to a Purim carnival Sunday at the Shul. Always fun to see kids in their costumes. Read from the megillah and say boo to Hamen and yay to Queen Esther.

Just back from Megillah reading tonight. Attempting to blot out the name of Haman now.. with various spirits.

Back in the bad-old-days in The People’s Democratic Republic of Seattle, at Temple they LITERALLY dropped Haman’s name from the reading and used “Bush” instead.
