UN resolution invalid, says Gaddafi

Muammar Gaddafi says the UN resolution authorising international military intervention in Libya is "invalid".
The Libyan leader says he sent a message to President Barack Obama defending his decision to attack rebel cities: "If you found them taking over American cities by the force of arms, tell me what you would do."
The statement came from the government spokesman at a news conference in Tripoli.
Gaddafi also sent a letter to the French and British leaders, and the UN secretary general, saying the resolution violates the UN charter and saying they would "regret" any intervention.
"Libya is not for you, Libya is for the Libyans," he said.
His comments came as Libyan rebels shot down a warplane that was bombing their eastern stronghold.

Qadaffi is buying time because he knows he is dealing with a testicle-free US administration.
Everybody already knows the United Nations is a testicle-free zone.

nobama must be so irritated. Gadhafi is interfering with his lastest vacation. Just by what logic is nobama invading a sovereign nation? If nobama is such a war monger that he thinks he must do this...what about Bahrain or Yemen? The Saudis are killing Bahrainians and the Yemenis are sniping Yemenis. nobama is a hate crime. nobama is angry at the US and angry at others. nobama hates you, your children, Free America, Americans, the Constitution and (apparently) people everywhere. a child with the ability to strike out with a military in a tantrum is a dangerous and troublesome thing.

Maybe, but with Qaddafi's announced cease fire beating the West to the punch with its no fly, no drive zone, I wouldn't put it past the so called coalition to stage an incident or incidents around Benghazi to serve as a new justification to start bombing. After the Balkan fiasco to set up a Muslim state in Europe with the wholesale lies told to justify Clinton's blue stain dress war, I think we wouldn't think twice about propaganda to justify new attacks.
I think he's got a pretty good point here.
That's usually the case for people with mental instability. That said, I am inclined to have us sit this one out. I do not know the motives of the people behind the uprising. Given the way they're always "surprised" about events, I seriously doubt the DC clowns in charge know, either.
Quadaffi is merely following the Democrat Senators of Wisconsin who declared the work of the senate, assembly, and governor to be invalid.
If you did not make the rule, don’t follow the rule.
Obama is going to get a great shock when the American people finally decide that is the way to proceed. An Obama rule is worthless. a new rule means you can make a new rule
