A "coalition of the willing" is rapidly forming to strike back at any military advances of the Ghaddafi regime against the rebels and Libyan civilians. Ten nations already are ready to attack.

An immediate attack on pro-Ghaddafi forces after this night's UN Security Council resolution had been carefully planned, with many Arab and Western nations putting military vessels and aircrafts to the disposition of the operations.

Wouldnt that put a wrench in the works.

So far, the US, UK, France, Spain, Belgium, Denmark, Italy, Malta, Qatar and another unnamed Arab country (To be named later) are prepared to participate in a strike against Colonel Ghaddafi's troops.

How's that for a starting lineup? LOL! Well, at least they put the US first on the list. That would indicate that they are at least trying to scare Moammar.

Somebody is in dream land, they think you move military assets around like a chess board. No hours of recon, just throw the jets in there and bomb the damn milk factory and hospitals. Fools!!!

Without the US military and the leadership it brings this operation will not have a chance. Face it we know how to get this job done.

And I thought that BHO was not going to be an interventionist like the beyond evil Bush administration? (Of course Israel was always a target)

So, tell me, what is “the job”? Is it replacing one murderous dictator of long-standing who has his country, until recently, under control. If so, replacing it with what? The only thing that comes to mind is a fundamentalist Muslim state.

This is a country of tribes. The people are still living back in the middle ages saddled with a religion of repression. Is that what you want? Another Iran? Just wait and see what happens in Egypt, a country far more civilized. Can’t you hear the Muslim Brotherhood coming?

We should not be sending so much as one US military person in harms way, nor should we be spending US dollars which we do not have.

But, but, I thought you needed permission from Congress before we went to war? W caught all sort of flak for jumping the gun and going into Iraq. What makes this any different? Where are the crowds of hippie war protesters when you need them?

He said there’d be no ground troops. In effect he told Khaddafi we will not do anything to remove him. And the reply was “I’ll attack passenger jets if the rest of you mess with me ‘cause I know the kenyan won’t do anything.”

I was not saying if the No Fly Zone was a good idea. I was saying that to have any chance for it to work at all the US will have to run it. No one else on the list can even come close to it.

I still think Obama needs congressional approval. Just because the UN authorized the strike, does not void the War Powers Act that requires the president to have before committing troops to action overseas to have either a congressional approval or for America to be under attack or a serious threat.

This isn’t a threat to America. So Obama needs to get the Congressional approval.

The only thing we should be doing in Libya is selling weapons to both sides.

Where are the crowds of hippie war protesters when you need them?

They are trying to get as much government money as they can and grow fat. During the next Republican presidency they will draw off this supply as they protest “Sarah’s war” or “Trump’s war” or whoever wins.

If 10 nations are going to do something about Qaddafi, who's gonna be in-charge?

The UN or NATO or (fill-in blank)?

What are they going to do, exactly?

What's the ROE?

Has Congress authorized it?

Small questions for Generalissimo Zer0. Think anyone in the MSM has the brains (or guts) to ask?

Or, will they act like a collective of bobble-head dolls. (My bet's on the bobble-head dolls.)

Defense Secretary was pretty clear in what sort of military actions are necessary in order to ensure success of No Fly Zone in Libya. So with that information, the President needs to go before Congress to authorize the use of force in Libya. But if he’s not going to do that, impeachment hearings should occur immediately.

Our intelligence is telling us that the rebels received a lot of their training in Iran. Why are we supporting Muslim extremist , as bad as Qhaddafi is, he is no worse than the Muslim nutcases. We need to stay out of this mess. This would be like us supporting the Nazi against the Russians.
