To me it really doesn’t make a difference IF Japan is a wealthy nation or a 3rd World nation, You can have all the wealth in the world, but IF you don’t have Jesus, you have nothing!

I remember some years back when Cresent City, California was hit by a tidal wave in the middle of a cold winter...and the Red Cross was still pulling ‘Red-tape’...the Salvation Army, was in there with hot meals and warm clothing...made no difference what a persons status was...what they needed was warm clothing, hot meals, given with a warm smile in the name of Jesus... IF, the gift is given with the right attitude, the Lord will reward you accordingly. I prefer to do my giving as unto the Lord, as I’m sure many others do too, so why should any of us question and try to qualify the needs of any people that have been stricken by such a tragedy with the magnitude of the Earthquake and Tsunami that hit Japan. I know many Japanese people that are some of the most loving and giving people that you could meet...they would give you the shirt off of their back, even IF you were rich, but needed a shirt at that particular moment. So, let’s us think ahead a bit, out of the box...we maybe hit with a similar disaster.... would we except the ‘shirt’ that Japan would off each one of us? Ends times are coming and there will undoubtedly be more disasters coming and we need to be prepared and support one another.

Not only the Salvation Army, but also the ‘Samaritan’s Purse’ is there ‘johnny on the spot’ when needed and giving a cup of cold water in the Name of Jesus, with no questions asked.

I would not hesitate to give to either one of these wonderful organizations, as Lazamataz so aptly put it....when he needed help...they were there and brought good results. Good for you Laz...thanks for sharing your Overcoming with Salvation Army’s help! God Bless you, Laz, as you give and bless others in return.
