Congressional Republicans Begin Planting Hit Jobs on Conservatives (this is serious)
http://www.redstate.com/erick/2011/03/16/congressional-republicans-begin-planting-hit-jobs-on-conservatives/ ^

First the House GOP required Democrats to get their three week continuing resolution passed — a continuing resolution that cuts less money than the interest on our national debt that will accumulate over the next three weeks.

Then the House GOP started bad mouthing the conservatives who voted against their plan.

Now the House GOP is launching a direct assault on . . . wait for it . . . conservatives.

One reporter called me today. He is a long time acquaintance for a national newspaper. In shooting the breeze he dropped the names of leadership staffers pushing several of the hit jobs.

Unfortunately, though he named some names I’d already guessed, I can’t share them. But he said so many phones are burning up with hit jobs being planted I can write what I wrote because it will be impossible to trace back to him.

“An unnamed reporter claiming hit jobs are coming from unnamed staffers. Second hand information of second hand information ...”

I don’t think one really needs this posting to know that there is a schism between progressive Republicans and “We the people”. Whether the Tea Party is truly “We the People” and remains so, is yet to be seen.

Regardless of the veracity of this post, the differences are there.

More likely, libs have dirt on GOP leadership, to keep them from doing anything meaningful.

It must be awfully dirty dirt in this day and age to be effective, the stakes are so very high for the country.

“The story is true. The Daily Caller reported on this last night too.”

Of course they reported it. That’s how the propaganda mill works. Don’t fall for it.

See post #17. Red State is a RINO site. He supported Romney.

No doubt to a certain degree, but the press has pulled this sort of stunt before and the evidence presented is so general and lacking even a hint of specifics that I am simply not inclined to believe it. On top of that there’s no point in it since their resolution passed anyway, with a number of tea partiers saying “okay, but this is the last time” aside from those who went ahead and voted against it.

Well, I don't really see this having much an impact on Tea Party priorities. They're still going to go after irresponsible spenders and socialists. In the mean time, donate directly to conservatives and bankrupt the corrupt GOP RINOs.

Drip...drip...drip...we'll bleed them dry eventually...

“Stop drinking the GOP RINO koolaid.”

Red State suported Romney. Who’s drinking the RINO kool-aid here?

That’s fine. A massive waste of a nation-saving opportunity but it is what it is. But if entrenched RINOs are going to *actively sabotage* TP candidates, that weed cannot be allowed to take root and we had better get on this with extreme seriousness. I am not about to let half a dozen rat***k staffers blow up the party.

You're blind if you actually believe that all is hunky-dory in GOP-land.

And yes, the GOP congressional staff has been calling all over the place trying to shut down Bachmann, King, and the other Tea Party members.

The GOP is NOT united, and is clearly coming apart at the seams because of this nonsense.

I could not give a crap less about Red State.

But they are right about the RINO elites who are running the GOP into the ground.

Why do you suppose Newt didn’t fight the lies when he was charged with misusing his organizations funds in the 90’s.
If you recall, the IRS (3 years later) ruled that his actions were “text book accurate” in their application.

But, he was having a little wifey/girlfriend problem at the time.
So, he caved to the blackmail, as though the libs would keep his secret....

Levin is convinced that it’s a deliberate war against conservatives, directed from Boehner’s office itself. It would be wonderful if it were coming from the Dims trying to get the Republicans to eat their own.

But sadly, it’s the Beltway Republicans eating their own without any help whatsoever from the Dims.

It’s not just leftover staffers backstabbing. This is being done with full authorization from Boehner and his ilk. They truly believe that the Tea Party will hurt the Republicans. They cannot see that their only salvation rests with making common cause with the Tea Party.

They are fools, ignoramuses, but they hold the leadership positions.

It’s about time for the Freshmen to take a stand and vote as a bloc to make the point that Boehner is chicken-sh!t without their support, not the other way around. Unless they do that, he will continue to treat them like a battered wife who always forgives and comes back for more. Boehner’s bluff needs to be called.

IMO, the OP didn’t actually support Conservative values in Reagan’s day. He had to drag them along with him on a number of occasions.

Oh come on!!

You must remember that politics is the art of the possible.

To paint the leader like you did is giving the real enemy aid and comfort.

Couldn’t agree more!

When the primaries come along in 2012, I hope the Tea Party has a bunch of RINOs in it’s sights.

Time to add numbers to the 60 freshmen we just installed.
