Bexar County Democratic leader accused of bigotry

SAN ANTONIO -- Bexar County Democratic Chair Dan Ramos is in hot water after comments referring to gays, blacks, whites, and Jews outraged the community. The Texas Democratic Party Chairman, Boyd Richie, asked Ramos to resign. Richie accused Ramos of bigotry and creating chaos since his election a year ago.

On Friday, Ramos was quoted in the San Antonio Current.

"He called Stonewall Democrats Nazi termites that have wormed their way into the party hierarchy," explained Dee Villarrubia, an openly gay Bexar County Democratic Deputy Chair who was elected in June. "I'm shocked and appalled," said Villarrubia. "Dan Ramos' comments are an affront to the founding principles of our democracy."

Villarrubia is now worried about hate crime she fears Ramos' comments could cause.

"When people make hateful comments against gay people, all it takes is one crazy [person] to take revenge on the homosexual community," said Villarrubia.

Now, it's not just the Texas Democratic party Chairman who has asked Ramos to resign. As word of his remarks traveled, groups like the Anti-Defamation League, the Direct Action Network of San Antonio, and the Bexar County Young Democrats have demanded that Ramos step down from his position.

A precinct chair told us there is widespread disgust and dismay.

Is it really bigotry if you insult everybody?

Sounds more like he’s barking mad ... but this is so common for Democrats that it’s hardly worth mentioning.

What's new about Mexi-Bigotry?

The taxpayers of the U.S. fund a group called La Raza that is founded on ethnic exclusion and hatred.

Sr. Ramos is just sayin' it out loud. Why the upset?

We've all been lectured that they have the right to do and say anything they want no matter who gets hurt, 'cuz they're a victim minority.

Welcome to the political future of Texas.

In 20 years, all the little Mexican anchor babies will be voting age and you will NEVER get a Caucasian, Black or Jew
elected to state office again.

The Mexican invasion of Texas will be decided with the womb and not the gun. 1000 babies are born to illegals every month at Parkland Hospital in Dallas. And that’s at just ONE hospital in the state.

This guy did you a favor. He showed you your future.

Gays are the frequent victim of imaginary crimes

Gays are the frequent victim of imaginary crimes

And most of the real crimes against gays are committed by other gays.

He showed us the political future of the entire US, not just Texas. The parasites from across the border are breeding in every state.

What's new about Mexi-Bigotry?

My admittedly small act of rebellion against the Messkins here is to intentionally Anglicize the pronunciation of "their" words. I enjoy their facial expression when I sneeringly refer to the county as "BEX-ARE". And you ought to hear me with "jalapeno"! Suffice it to say that Hank Hill's dad would be proud. :-)

Honestly, I'm so sick and tired of them rolling their Rs and putting a Messkin spin on our English language that I do get some measure of satisfaction by tweaking them.

I want our country back and our language too.

And quit flying your third world country's flag here in Texas!

He showed us the political future of the entire US, not just Texas. The parasites from across the border are breeding in every state.

In the latter part of the 20th Century, my colleagues in the upper Midwest just couldn't understand why the influx (and the breeding) of these parasites from south of the Rio Grande was seen as such a danger to me. I heard the usual PC arguments about how fine the Mexicans were -- strong family values, good workers, faith in God and such. I was branded as an intolerant, bigoted Texas redneck. The "diversity is our strength" crowd sure had me nailed, didn't they?

Well, well, well. Now the situation has changed. They're now working in the meat packing plants and the farms in Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa and Wisconsin. Now that the Mexican hordes are invading their towns and cities, what I was saying a decade or so ago is now finally begin recognized as prophetic. Multiculturalism was just fine for them until it started creeping close to their homes.
