I could tell you... but then I would be accused of being racist.

Duplicate post whose answer is obvious -

a civilized, homogeneous (no-diverse) culture.

How many Japanese are second or third generation welfare recipients?

Being homogeneous is not a requirement. Teaching personal responsibility is.

Because they were not brought to Japan in slave ships!

My mom just commented about this today.

I’ll say it has to do with respect and personal responsibility.

National pride, maturity, responsibility, self-discipline for starters.

I won’t discuss the elephant (NOT the 800-lb gorilla) in the room.

There probably is but it isn’t being reported. Man is sinful the world around. However, culturally, they “save face” and so probably won’t report something which makes them look bad.

“a civilized, homogeneous (no-diverse) culture”

With high social standards that are driven in to children at an early age. The cops also have a LOT more power over there. You screw around, you get arrested and I imagine their equivalent to SWAT isn't as hampered by political correctness.

You aren't wrong at all, MrB. I just felt like adding to it.

PS: I do not want cops to have that much power in this country. They're more communal over there

In the hardest hit areas it kind of looks like there was nothing left to loot anyway.

That said, government dependents feel like looting in emergencies in America is also an entitlement.

The Japenese are educated, that helps too.

Homogeneous population and shared values. Homogeneity is their strength.

Because the majority of the youths there have been taught right and have respect for their elders. American and British parents let their kids run the household with an all about MEEEEEE!!! attitude and our welfare class is all gimme! gimme! gimme!!! Other cultures simply have no respect for anyone and know nothing but to steal. We’ve given the responsibility of raising our kids to the government and in return the government has ordered us not to discipline them. As a result, we have no one to blame but ourselves for the looting during Katrina.

Wonderful, isn’t it, a culture that emphasizes self control and personal responsibility? I pray for those people, AND their country.

Unlike some people who have been conditioned to ‘hate whitey’ and depend on handouts of “Obama Cash” the Japanese are hard working moral people with a strong sense of honor and national devotion.
