If this is true then Ailes is an idiot..when someone is accusing you of being a co-conspirator to 6 brutal murders, you don’t sit back and say NOTHING, you stand up for yourself, especially since hardly anyone in the GOP had a spine enough to go on TV and actually defend her..instead they crawled underneath their rocks and did nothing. Mark Levin and Rush Limbaugh were the only ones who defended her

Shut up and let people lie about you or speak up and defend yourself?

I like the way Palin does it.

Gabriel Sherman is a left-wing jackass who has made it his business to trash Sarah Palin with his lies.

Here’s one of his earlier pieces, where he hits her with Troopergate (remember that?) and all sorts of nonsense.

Ailes should keep in mind that he’s dealing with a future POTUS when he’s dealing with Sarah Palin.

Wait a minute, I thought the latest Sarah Palin meme from the RINO-socialist complex was “too scripted.”

Now she’s gone rogue again? Good grief, they need to keep their spin on script, speaking of scripted. I just can’t keep up with it all.

RE :”Palin told Ailes she wanted to respond, according to a person with knowledge of the call. It wasn’t fair the media was making this about her. Ailes told Palin that she should stay quiet. “Lie low,” he said. “There’s no need to inject yourself into the story.” Palin told Ailes that other people had given her that same advice. Her lawyer Bob Barnett is said to have cautioned her about getting involved. The consensus in some corners of Palin’s camp was that she faced considerable risks if she spoke out. But, this being Sarah Palin, she did it anyway. Ailes was not pleased with her decision, which turned out to be a political debacle for Palin, especially her use of the historically loaded term “blood libel” to describe the actions of the media. “The Tucson thing was horrible,” said a person familiar with Ailes’s thinking. “Before she responded, she was making herself look like a victim. She was winning. She went out and did the blood libel thing, and Roger is thinking, ‘Why did you call me for advice?’”

FYI ping

The same people who blamed her for the Tucson shooting criticized her to being quiet, and then for using the term ‘blood libel’ in her response. With them there is no winning. She could invent a cure for cancer and they’d complain she didn’t do it soon enough She should not spend one second trying to please them. Nor, so far as I’ve detected, has she.

Is that a scene from the upcoming Hollywod fantasia about Sarah Palin?

I doubt if it’s true. This guy is a congenital liar.

Sarah plays by her own rules. She has said, “If I die (politically), so be it.”

She signed with FNC shortly after resigning as governor. With two best-sellers, speaking engagements, etc., I doubt she is hurting for money.

Greta's show is probably the best.

It's the one I can watch.

What a bunch of nonsense. Have you seen Sarah's polls with independents after this? If the election were held today she would win president in a landslide. This was a brilliant move by her to get the media focus on her after the shooting. Anyone who disagrees has an secret agenda.

It was not a 'debacle' as the libs want everyone to believe, but a powerful statement setting the record straight.

Which anyone who actually heard her knows.

Palin did the right thing by responding. No question. The newsmedia was putting a burning tire around her neck, and no one else was coming around to help her out (to put it mildly). She had to fling it off herself. Sitting back and trying to win sympathy through victimization wouldn’t cut it, and she’d still be dogged by the taint in many quarters. She was put a horrible box, but she fought back hard and won. It might not have looked pretty to those of faint-heart, but she was 100% successful in destroying the monstrous smear-job.

E..D Hill said something about zero doing a terrorist handshake with Michelle and Fox would not renew her contract, She apologized the next day and they still got rid of her after 10 years of service. What is wrong with FOX?

“The channel is full of neocons (the crew from the Weekly Standard, Krathammer, etc.) and establishment Republicans (Rove, Perino, etc.). O’Reilly tries to ambush Palin every opportunity he gets.
Hannity is the only host close to being a conservative but keeps repeating himself to the point where he is unwatchable. Greta’s show is probably the best.”

I agree with everything you said except the stopped watching part. Where else on TV are you gonna go?

If I have the TV on, it's usually CNBC (business channel).

I still stop by Fox occasionally to watch Hannity (who isn't too bad) or to see Beck (for amusement only), but CNBC provides me with more and better information about the world events that are really important.
