Thank you for this post. Hannan is indeed rightfully concerned about the state of things in America. From his view I would say he thinks there is a state of flux. A battle to be waged for what is right asd opposed to the manipulations of crafty and devious men and women.

It was, of course one Tom Paine, who was an Englishman to come out four square and support the American Revolution. A battle lies ahead. That battle will decide whether Americans can, if they wish, be allowed to pursue the American dream. For some, that dream may be a Norman Rockwell America- and why not?

For that kind of America was a kindly America. Sure, there were young people that rebelled against it. The fools try to destroy it, rather than most of them going off to some other country and trying that style of living .

The pursuit of the ordinary American may still be, finding a life's partner, having children and owning a nice home. Nothing wrong with that.

What we may be seeing is a complete repudiation of this kind of value. The wicked sycophants who deliberately encourage every kind of contradiction to the old fashioned life style, wallow in luxury themselves.

I hold it that if America falls, so will fall the English speaking people.

Stand fast conservatives.

I really enjoyed reading your post.

Thank you.

I felt right at home and was again reminded — we must fight the notion of apologizing for being Americans. The very thought is outrageous.

That’s how the minds of our youth have been corrupted and wasted. “Educators” have lowered the bar in schools and now they’re lowing the bar for what America and American is (and they have a lot of ready made citizens who fit that bill).

Obama does not represent the American brand.

People around the world who live under tyranny and who understand freedom, are watching and praying for us to vote in leaders who understand American exceptionalism, someone who will fan that flame so we will again be a beacon of hope.

On a side note, I really don’t like the word “deserve.” It is overused and few deserve. I prefer, “have the opportunity.”
