Your extended family okay? Most of my wife’s family is in Kyushu or Hiroshima but my sister-in-law has two sisters in Kanto, one in southern Tokyo right next to Kawasaki and the other in Chiba. And this morning my wife was counting down friends here in the States who have family in Kanto also. Fortunately we can’t think of anyone from coastal Tohoku.
Family and friends all around Tokyo, so far so good. Skyping now with a friend stuck at work with no way home tonight.
They just had a long but moderate aftershock - in central Tokyo.
