To: Fledermaus

No, we’re about halfway between Nashville and Chattanooga, not far above the TN/AL state line. There are fault lines that run through the mountains and it was apparently one of those that let go. They’ve slip occassionally since then but we haven’t felt them here.

Quakes are the main reason I never fancied living in CA. I’ll take my chances with tornados. LOL! We were missed by one last week but just 4 miles. Hubby watched it roar by and nightowl me slept through it.

Watching the coverage of Japan is like watching one of those doomsday movies. They’re always over the top.

But this isn’t Hollywood.

Been in my share of tornados. Back in 1998 I was within 50 feet of the one that went through downtown Nashville.

Mother Nature is trying to get me. Been struck my lightening also.
