I don’t understand why Bachman put those stipulations in her bill. Why didn’t she just write it so the CFL light bulb bill would be recinded for the simple reason that the government has no damn business outlawing our incandescent light bulbs.

I totally agree with you - why all the dancing around and cutesy stuff.

Just point out it's none of their dam* business what kind we buy - but DO emphasize their hypocrisy in that this ‘green’ bulb is a toxic bomb.

I would like to see a list of the initial stock holders.

I have a suspicion that a product was picked - one that every household uses - and then deals were made (with China friends for productions and kick backs - and then with the buddy politicians to mandate buying the product.

Rather like Chertoff leaving his gov’ job and investing in the xray scanners at the airports - and then the new rules at the airports.

The mandate for the low-flushes isn't working out too good in San Francisco - great place for a sewer problem.
