The NRA campaigned quite heavily against Obama in 2008. The MSM still makes the NRA look like the bad guy. I wonder if this is a smart move.

Why should worrying about what the other side thinks have to do with doing what is right?

The NRA is a giant and Lamar Smith may not now have a politically sound basis for non-action on the issue. Others are urging D. Issa to take action, it will be interesting to see if NRA joins that effort.
One thing for sure, we will be fighing the MSM every step of the way for the recovery of our nation, and it will be whether or not we choose to engage.

Hearings... that’s the ticket!
1. Whitewater
2. Ruby Ridge
3. Waco
4. Murrah Building
5. TWA 800
6. The murder of Vince Foster
7. Chinese campaign finance corruption
8. Clinton abuse against women
9. Spies within the White House
I could go on. Why bother?
More hearings? Yawn...
We likely have an illegitimate President, not qualified to serve, and even that flying under the noses of our elected leaders doesn’t cause them to wince.
Yeah sure, if we had some honest folks in D. C., it would make sense. Well we don’t. Look at the mess we’re in. They’re lucky to have 11% approval for Congress.

"The MSM still makes the NRA look like the bad guy. I wonder if this is a smart move." In a word....YES. That's why they my dues money and the occasional extra contribution.
The media will excoriate the NRA and gun owners for anything they do, except volunteering to turn all firearms in to be destroyed.
