Planned Parenthood Federation of America is fighting a congressional attempt to end federal funding for the organization with a nationwide bus tour, dubbed the "Truth Tour." The organization's bright pink bus advertises various Planned Parenthood statistics and health data, but it does not include the number of abortions the organization has performed. In 2009, Planned Parenthood clinics performed 332,278 abortions, according to a fact sheet on the groups Web site. Also, in fiscal year 2008-2009, Planned Parenthood received more than $363 million in government grants and contracts, including federal taxpayer dollars through Title X family planning provisions.

Unfortunately, many Repubs are going wobbly on the defunding of PP.
Hey, Repubs...let the disgusting pink bus keep rolling, just NOT with MY tax dollars. Let Margaret Sanger's legacy "clinics" subsist on private funding.
I’ll bet most of those aborted would have been future Democrats. I’m just saying....
Yes, but always remember people can change an ideology. Some of the best conservative people I know were once liberals.
Further the bigger picture to be against it is because the base argument behind abortion is a certain class of persons (the unborn) have no rights, we can do whatever we want to them. If that kind of argument is ever supported by us, the libs will just use this argument to justify eliminating other classes of people. think the elderly, think poor people (obamacare).
The libs will do anything to hide the truth about PP. I was trolling a leftist website and attempted to post a comment saying 1) PP does not have a monopoly on condoms and contraception; if they go out of business there are still plenty of pharmacies and 2) Buying condoms and/or contraception from an organization that also makes money off abortions is asking for trouble. Pretty mild comment for a troll, right? I tried multiple times and it wouldn’t post. I log on to FR and the Internet connection works perfectly. Coincidence? I think not.
