The ENTIRE Yealy deficit for 2007 was 160 Billion, less than then the 1 month deficit in Feb ‘11? Something is f-ed up.
The entire deficit of the Bush Administration was something like $4.75 trillion, perhaps a bit more.
Obama is effectively blowing out our deficits at just a little under half that per month, and the Republicans are only talking about cutting something like $8.5 trillion per month.
It just boggles the mind how out of control our government spending is.
We’ve got a great set of founding documents, and not a single one of our elected officials pay any attention to them as they buy into destroying that shining light on a hill.

The Congressional Budget Office estimated Friday that the U.S. federal budget deficit for fiscal year 2007, which ended Sunday, was about $161 billion, or 1.2% of gross domestic product. That’s down from the $248 billion shortfall recorded in fiscal 2006, which translated into 1.9% of GDP. The Treasury Department will report the official tally later this month.
