Does anyone recall a thread that listed the 6-figure salaries of the WI "Big Education"?

If so, a link would be great - thanks!

This is the redistributive change spouted by Obama. It is redistribution from the tax serfs to the privileged class. and it won't change until the serfs rebel in a meaningful way. It will be a close call if the rebellion will come before the parasitical class kills the taxpaying body host first.

This is very good news for conservatives. We need to get the word out to our lists, friends and families.

These tactics, once understood, will not work again and will backfire.

What you’ll see occur from this is that Walker will get his budget and the unions will lose. Wise local governments, seeing this, will carefully craft contracts or let their contracts expire.

It will be the most Democratic locales, like Madison, in which disaster will occur. Either the unions will accept layoffs or they will return to the bargaining table and accept concessions.

The Democrats and the unions are in a lose-lose situation.

The best thing for our side is that they’ve exposed themselves as the greedy thugs they truly are.

I love it and this will go nationwide.

Just do like Bill Clinton did with the tax increases in ‘93 and make the law retro-active.

I’m sure the same shenanigans are happening right now in Illinois and Ohio. Delay is the unions’ friend!

They should have just voted the collective bargaining portion in a separate bill 2 wks. ago.

If there’s no way to defeat the unions on this issue, the Wisconsin GOP needs to start having a lot of press conferences with charts showing the salaries and benefits of the teachers who survive the coming layoffs.

I wish Wisconsin parents would pull their kids out of the public schools en masse.

Just another epic fail of the GOP. Walker had a historic opportunity he could have channeled Reagan here...but he just let himself be manipulated.

Whatever he does nothing will change nothing.

Ridiculous...just like the GOP cutting 61 billion...that is 17 days of deficit spending out of 365...

Bottom line: nothing has changed...

The State should be under no obligation to “cover” local contract obligations. If they over extend, then “OH WELL” their problem. NO Bailouts.

I would move out of WisCONsin so fast it would make a union pirate's head spin.

There's going to be blood over this garbage.

As I heard today...the government and the unions are at the table...but the taxpayers aren’t.

In fact, the taxpayers aren’t even in the room.

Conservatives see their freedom and rights as being free from government usurpation.

Liberals always seem to see their “freedom and rights” as coming from Government’s ability to raid your pockets (and freedom) on their behalf.

That is what is so disgusting about the labor union protesters. They are protesting to extort the people out of their money.

If we could ever elect a true patriot president he could appoint an AG who’s not afraid to charge people with crimes. It’s been a while since we had one.
