DOA Director told the judge that prior to Monday’s restrictions (attempts to return the Capitol to operation within applicable laws) the cost of extra law enforcement, etc required through the Emergency Police System was running about $3-4 million per week, not counting cleaning and other expenses. He is very competent and credible in describing his attempts to do his job in the face of thugs and opposition.

Does anyone know if rubber bullets are hard on marble?

If not, I say warn these squatters thirty seconds after opening fire.

Okay, we Tea Party members must hold our places in the next capitol we protest. No forceful removal or arrest of us refusing to leave.

Test have demonstrated that bullets (see note below) are relatively effective in removal operations.

(Rubber ones, of course.)

I live 20 miles from the Capital.
It’s worse than “wussie” cops.
The cops are only protecting the dirty hippie dems and not anyone else.
This week one of the Repub state senators, Glenn Grothman was trying to get into the capital to get to work, and mobs of angry hippes surrounded him. He was rescued by a dem elected official who took pity on him. Glenn is lucky he was not injured. The police are in on the protests, support them since they are union too.
The Dane county sheriff Mahoney has publicly said he will not defend the capital even though the gov. asked for assistance.
Conservatives are not being served by any cops.

Today it was said that the 2+ week old union thug protest, has caused 7 million in damages to the capital building.

No one had control or wanted to control the mobs. The cops stood down.

Mike Tobin of Fox News requested help when he was getting mobbed and the police went around and around the square without helping him. He had to get out of there by himself.

The hippies have been crapping in the corners of the rotunda, camping out, changing diapers upon a display of the WI Constitution, ruining the marble in the capital by writing on it with markers, taping signs to it, etc....so far 7 million in damages, and another 3 million in “security” costs. I guess that is for keeping union thugs safe because no one else is safe to go near there.

This is my rant. Thanks for listening.
Half of WI is crazy libtards.
Half are good folks.
I am sick of the liberals.
They lost the elections in Nov. and are too utterly without shame to face that fact and act like human beings.

The cops are all in on it.
The firefighters too.
There is no such thing as a public servant in Madison now.

Glad I don’t live there. But I am still too close. Would rather be 1000 miles away in the mountains of CO.

Remember the moonbat cult "Recreate '68" at the 2008 Dem Convention in Denver. It fizzled out. But Wisconsin should grant them their wish in 2011.

I read that the protest cost to WI was an extra $3-4M for the month of February, not per week. And I wish the $7.5M damage estimate came from a historical restoration expert, which I don’t believe it did, because if actual damage is far less than that the Walker admin will look like liars. Also, Althouse has been posting video throughout the saga of the interior of the Capitol, including tonight right before the squatters left. It doesn’t look trashed or filthy, because the anti-Walker folks were smart enough to keep the place relatively clean. These exaggerated stories undermine the credibility of pro-Walker folks, which makes me wonder about the motives of those who keep posting such tales.

Give the police Dial soap and brushes. Water the protesters down and tell them that bath time is here if they dont leave.
Works everytime with lefties.
