Gee. Some things never change. My father had the exact same problem with a brand-new 1957 Chrysler. The dealer couldn't fix it, and he returned the car and bought another Ford.

My mechanic favors Caravans for his small fleet of loaner vehicles. Mind you, most are maybe a decade old, but he really likes them for some reason.

Last time I used one, I got stranded at home due to the transmission pawl getting stuck between gears. He’s admitted that, since then, another one’s done the same to another customer.

Apparently they just run like a top... once you manage to get it started!
