WITI-TV, MADISON — Before protesters stormed the capitol, the mayor of the city of Madison tried to pull a fast one. The governor's budget repair bill was on the fast track, and Madison Mayor Dave Ciesliewicz was racing against the clock to pass new union contracts first.

E-mails obtained by the FOX6 Investigators show that the mayor enlisted the help of State Senator Mark Miller. They both tried to convince the Secretary of State to hold up the bill by taking the maximum 10 days allowed by law before publishing the bill.

These “me, me, me” unions are going to be the death of this country if there is not a stop put to them.

And the Republicans never segregated the collective bargaining rule into a separate bill that did not require the 2/3 quorum and could have sailed right through.

I smell a rat.

This collusion would make any such contracts null and void and probably get all involved fired, right?

This will really generate sympathy for the poorly paid, under-appreciated public union folks.

Even taxpayers who were somewhat sympathetic to the union position just got a strong whiff of union stench.

I don’t know, but maybe someone with experience in contract law may post. To me it seems criminal.

““That’s the way collective bargaining works. It ought to be a negotiation, but at the end of the day we want to have good working relationships between labor and management here in Madison.”””

It OUGHT to be a negotiation, but...

Yeah, I OUGHT to have the rules changed when I’m caught driving 10 miles over the speed limit.

“I don’t know, but maybe someone with experience in contract law may post. To me it seems criminal.”

I think there could be a two phase prosecution.

Phase 1: Prove there was criminal collusion between elected Democratic officials and the Unions in an attempt to defraud the public.

Phase 2: Prosecute the Unions and the Democrats under the RICO statute for racketeering and seize assets.

The the State of Wisconsin could use the proceeds to close the budget gap.

Initially, parasites flourish at the expense of their host. But eventually, both die.

Which is why it is in the interest of hosts everywhere to eliminate the parasites.
