I came on this thread ready to say the same, but if all she said was really: “Common sense & decency absent as wacko ‘church’ allowed hate msgs spewed@ soldiers’ funerals but we can’t invoke God’s name in public square”, then that’s hardly the same as what the headline implies.

I’m not sure she was attacking the SCOTUS’s decision though...

This is exactly why Palin looks bad here. She is unaware that the Constitutional separation of Church and State is already provided for under the Establishment Clause and is not connected to the 1st ammendment under the right to Free Speech as she is assuming here.
She just needs to keep her mouth shut some times, like the “Blood Libel” mess she created for herself.
