Way past time to drive a stake through the Combine’s cold, dead heart.

Jon Zahm said it's possible Madigan may eliminate the district. But yes, we should start looking for a primary challenger to the younger LaHood now. The current district covers 7 central Illinois counties. Apparently the Peoria Co. GOP chairman and Knox county GOP chairman are RINOs who together control 58% of the weighed vote for the district, and they voted for nepotism over merit. State Rep. Don Moffitt and Peoria Mayor Jim Ardis were obviously better choices, both are solid conservatives and proven vote getters. The problem is they will probably be reluctant to run against an incumbent. I would try to draft one of ‘em anyway.
