Let states opt out of the Federal plan if what?
If they adopt their own mandated “Romney Care” plan?
Always watch the other hand.

Key words from article.....”federal permission to withdraw from the laws mandates in 2014 rather than in 2017 as long as they.......”
So, you opt out, per Executive order, but ITS STILL THE LAW.....sorry, I’m not taking that bait.
The Dems really think the Tea Party is made up of Dummies, don’t they ?

He’s lying. This is nothing but an attempt to lean to the right so fool people into thinking he has changed. If he were to be re-elected, he would, of course, change it back to mandatory insurance.

It needs to be repealed totally and our federal budget needs to be slashed by 20% to 50%. It needs to be done now!

He’ll leave enough of the laws in there to bankrupt the Insurance Industry and bingo, we’ve got Obamacare anyway. Beware of the creeping Marxist. Their nose is still under the tent.

He is not conceeding on anything here.
I believe that Obamacare allows states to opt-out of the Federal mandate if they adopt some sort of Romneycare mandate.
All Obama is doing is posturing. Making it look like this is his idea of compromising. It is neither his idea nor is it a compromise.

Sounds like a delaying tactic to try and convince the SCOTUS that suits challenging the mandate will be moot.
Also I am thinking he is really liking Vermont’s plan to implement single payer on a statewide basis.
