For those who don't read the story:
When Tia's child is born in August there will be six generations of the same family still alive - including the newborn's 92-year-old great great great grandmother Mabel.
Wonder what other families in that town are as 'prolific'!

92 year old great great great grandmother. With 6 generations doesn’t that average out to about 15 years old for the birth of each one.

“great great great grandmother Mabel.”
I’m thinking my family goes about child-rearing differently. My children’s great grandmother died in 1986 at the age of 98 before they were born. I have no idea when MY great grandmothers died (in Europe). I figure my great, great, great, grandmother probably died before the Civil War!
