Well, I just watched (a recording) of the Libyan Ambassador to the UN calling for sanctions against his country, and crying. I am not a softie when it comes to all of these protestors, as I realize many, if not most, of them hate us etc, but these are amazing days we are living in. I hope we have a president soon who can deal with all of the new problems this one is leaving us.
It’s amazing isn’t it? I think there ARE some people in these demonstrations and uprisings who really DO want freedom. At this point though I’m not convinced they’re going to get what they want. There’s also the question of how many of those that want it grasp what it means to live with freedom.
The only answer for US is DRILL, BABY, DRILL!!!
