There’s a difference between ‘invited to talk’ and ‘gonna show up and talk.’

President Obama will quickly rearrange his sceduled trip for snow cones to speak at the summit and thank ASSange for his attempts at destroying this country.

BIG difference between a President (for real) and the empty suit that currently occupies the chair in the Oval Office.

Bravo, Mr. President!

I am mixed on this. He left the forum and a chance to speak about how security leaks hurt our country and kill our men in combat.

I think what he is indicating by canceling is, “Why would I lend my gravitas, credibility and the ability to draw a crowd to an organization that would invite Assange?”

My take is that I am enjoying life and don't want to mingle with low-lifes.

and...

“My take is that I am enjoying life and don’t want to mingle with low-lifes.”

I agree with you! Why be stuck in the same locale with that POS Assange? And since GWB’s home in Texas has just been revealed to have been a target of another Muslim nutcase, I’m sure he is being extra careful, too.

No problem. I’ve had someone else here insist to me that Assange is Swedish - or of dual nationality - some time ago, but no proof was offered when I asked for it. Have never seen even one media source claim that Assange has a Swedish passport. No mention of that on Wikipedia either.

He just hangs out there because of the liberal internet laws. (Pirate Bay etc...)

How ironic that he’s now fighting tooth and nail not to be extradited back to Sweden. Ah, liberals...
