No kidding? In any event many of the politicians in Utah were born and raised in the far more liberal Salt Lake area. They are NOT indicative of the rest of the state. It’s like saying Nevada is liberal because of those in Clark County (where I’m from), or that Pennsylvannia is liberal because of Philadelphia. The fact is that Utah is not liberal, or illegal immigrant friendly, however, some of the pols are. Last year, one of the state workers, with a partner (coworker), exposed THOUSANDS of illegals on the dole. They were fired and facing prosecution, and the Politicians, to the outrage of the citizenry apologized to the illegals and stated no investigations would be made. A lot of people are very upset, and the actions of this Mexican Official masquerading as a Utah Politician shoudl not be seen as the condoning of illegal immigrants.

In my county there are constant letters to the editor about illegals, and calls to ICE over the illegals, but they are not raided and deported (though 2 factories were under Bush, repeatedly, none under Obama). The problem is at all levels of Government the people are being swindled and looted, not that the people condone such actions.
