When you consider that our brave practice with live rounds at sea, why not procure the expense of a few fiddy cal bursts on pirates and vessel(s) as the same? In that context, it would not be wasting anything at all and nullifies the risk of one of our boys getting hurt by getting too close to these feral beasts. Why just the Navy? Don't our AC-130 crews need practice too?
