Perhaps the governor did not feel the RTW was a slam dunk with the people of Indiana at this time. He concedes it, and the democrats still won't come back. It really shows the lack of good faith that the dems are dealing in. I think in WI they are really only fighting over one issue and the GOP can ram all kinds of stuff through without the quorum. Rules are different in Indiana, so you devise a different strategy.

But wait... the LEGISLATURE represents the people of Indiana, that being their JOB and all, and THEY felt the timing was right. Are you saying the newly elected legislature is out of touch with the people’s desires, whereas the governor first elected in 2005 knows them better?

The evidence is that Daniels’ strategy is a big FAIL. Sorry... I’m just going by what I’m seeing with my own eyes. Having gone soft once, they will walk all over him.
