British gay Muslims are joining the global fight for equality and seeking gay Islamic marriage. The BBC's 5 live Investigates speaks to one couple about their 'nikah' - a Muslim matrimonial contract - and asks how they balance their sexuality with the Islamic faith.
"We met about three years ago, at an iftar - a breaking of fast during Ramadan.
"I think a lot of Muslims find that time of year very spiritual and very enlightening, and so I think that's why our relationship developed, because we spoke about our faith."

(This is not to say I am so stupid or naive as to believe no Muslim has ever had homosexual relations before. However, my understanding is that an openly homosexual lifestyle is another thing altogether.)

Hmmm... there’s too many contradictory words in that title to be able to form an opinion.
The Koran is pretty clear on same-sex relationships. I also understand that Hypocrisy is considered Islam’s greatest sin (kind of like blaspheming the Holy Spirit is for Christians). I don’t understand people who want to be all religious and worship God and yet blatantly ignore what are pretty clear and unambiguous commandments from the creator. As far as I’m aware, they only have two real options. Abandon their sin and worship God as he commanded them to, or just admit that what they believe in is a load of hokum. You can’t have your cake and eat it too..
Since islam strictly forbids homosexaulality I kind of get the feeling that some islamists are pulling the politicaly correct Brits leg on this. Getting the west to rally to the aid of the so called islamic gays will set the hard core islam-a-nazies off.
In the Liberal useful idiot hierarchy non-Christian Religions trump homosexuality, so sorry gals, uuuumm I mean guys, you will just have to take a back seat to those who outrank you
