It IS the base of the party!

The typical math:

33% of population -- Conservative base
33% of population -- Liberal base
33% of population -- Undecided/uninterested Independents

If the Liberal base is down to 23%, that's good. Because I don't think 33% of the people are currently uninterested. This is a remarkable moment in history, and Obama is pretty clearly on the wrong side of history, with few supporters. The media hides the truth, but the truth is out there.

The typical math:

An even split of 33% between conservatives, liberals, and moderates has never been "typical".

Since these things have been measured, the split has customarily been:

Conservative - 40%
Liberal - 20%
Moderate - 40%

That rough average has held for over 40 years now.
