Hopefully they have the cajones to hold firm in the face of an Obama veto and a government shutdown. I pray they don't make the mistake republicans did in 1995 and cave the first time their approval numbers dip a few percent. They need to make it clear to Obama that they are willing to leave the government until after the 2012 election if necessary, but they're not going to blink first.

Remember the past two years.

It was the House Republicans who were solidly opposed to the Administration and the Democratic majorities in Congress.

After standing up for us when times were tough, I have great confidence in them now.
