When did demonstrating at the private homes of politicians or corporate executives become an acceptable way to voice ones political opinions?
Nearly two dozen activists from DC Vote swarmed House Speaker John Boehners Capitol Hill residence at 7:30 Thursday morning, chanting Dont tread of D.C. and No taxation without representation to protest congressional meddling in the Districts local affairs, in particular a House continuing budget resolution that would cut $80 million in federal payments and prohibit the city from using local funds to pay for needle exchange programs and abortions.
Speaker Boehner is coming to our home telling us how to spend our money, Ilir Zherka, the groups executive director, told his followers. We decided to come to his house to tell him to leave D.C. alone.
After Capitol Police officers blocked their way by using bikes to erect a makeshift barricade, the protestors remained outside Boehners home for more than an hour.

“When did demonstrating at the private homes of politicians”
I recall this brand of “civility” when nutjobs were trespassing on the property of Rove and Rumsfeld - pounding on windows and shrieking at their families. My recollection is that Dem politicians thought this was funny and perfectly acceptable. Now we have an adolescent President who legitimizes these antics further.
What happens when there is no more money for anybody or anything? Today’s storming of the Wisconsin capitol building by DemocRAT unionists and radicals of every stripe are a preview of coming attractions as the Republican Governor attempts to deal with out of control special interest groups.
If anyone would like to explain the constitution to Ilir Zherka here is his contact info since he is the leader of this group. I’m sure he’d love to hear from other people about this subject:

I distinctly recall Cod Pink hanging out at President Bush's ranch--one in particular, took up residence in a ditch across the street from his property........we even held a couple of "freeps" against them......
If they trespass arrest them,if they are vandals arrest them, if they break in kill em..and fire the uhbummer held secret service for being worthless, maybe they should play some music out the window that really drives em crazy...or just record a loop that says go away you suc, over and over..
“Cod” Pink? “Code” Pink? Does it really make any difference? Sorry about that!
I remember reading about a violent protest against President Bush early in his first term when he was in Portland, Oregon, for some event—I think the Secret Service were just barely able to keep him safe from the protestors. Similar tactics used a little later in Genoa resulted in one death.
Note that this Zherk doesn’t even live in DC
Wonder if it’s pronounced “Jerk”?
Note that he (Ilir Zherka) doesn’t even live in DC.
Where's the Capitol Cops when ya need em?
He has predicted these uprisings/strikes, etc...says they'll only get worse then collapse into a sort of civil war.
I'm prepared for all of that....
I wonder how the Rats would’ve responded if someone had done this while Pelosi was squatting in the Speaker’s office.
Were they wearing Brown Shirts? Did they break all the windows?
At what point does all this stop? These unions never stop asking for more and more.
We we all get off our soft derriers and vote for people who will get a Justice Dept. who will prosecute their leaders, freeze their assets, arrest politicians, freeze their Swiss Bank Accounts.
Then, when enough of them have sitting on their nasty rears in the gray bar hotel, some of their friends will make deals to strip all the rest of their nasty friends of their money and power.
Then we need a house and Senate with the balls to go after the traitors among us and sentence them to life in prison for crimes against the state.
That should do it.
Is this the new civility the left was demanding after the Gabby Giffords shooting? Where is Obummer on this?
