Politically - a very good response.
But I’m calling on her - and Palin - and all the other presidential wanna-be’s to come right out and say:
SHOW ME THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE.
Let me preface by saying that I don’t believe oblunder is a natural born US citizen. The fact that until he was running for President he was Kenyan born and then magically was born in Hawaii once he was running coupled with the fact he’s spent a fortune on attorney’s fee’s to keep things hidden is enough to convince me.
Like many, I would like to see him strung up for high treason.
But I think the fact of the matter is that besides using Chicago thug politics to quiet many judges into not taking up the issue, other judges, specifically SCOTUS know it would be a constitutional crisis of unimaginable proportions. A can of worms unlike anything.
It would call into question not only his presidency, but the vice presidency, all cabinet members, all appointee’s and judges, executive orders, and every bill sent to his desk for signature. Question those that verified his eligibilty as conspirators.
The constitution has no order for succession for such a mess as the normal order of succession wouldn’t work.
There are what, seven states now with pending legislation requiring proof of eligibility for future candidates to make those states ballots?
It’s only going to take one state to pass such legislation and unless oblunder has a change of heart to release his birth certificate to comply, he won’t be running for re-election.
However, she might have added:
“Although, I am willing to take the President at his word FOR NOW, I enthusiastically support the enforcement of emerging state requirements for Constitutional proof of eligibility in the upcoming elections.”
Let the Kenyan Commie fraud suck on that.

If “O” gets into the WH without the proper citizenship document, NO ONE wants to question it.
What's at issue is not whether Obama is a "citizen" -- it is whether he is a "natural-born citizen" as required by the Constitution.
Language is critical here so that the basis of the issue isn't changed like it was on immigration ... remember? Those of us against illegal immigration were accused falsely by the Left as being against "immigration".
I wish that she would have said that the issue is not whether he is now a citizen but whether he is a natrual born citizen as required in the constituion.
Simply put that is bringing the whole thing down to basics. The one person in the whole wide world who should have the information about the birth, is the President. Not a state secret surely. What did the President see when according to his book, he did find his birth certificate?. Genealogy buffs would love to know, just for the record.
Now there is an ominous tactic afoot. Today, as my better half had on "The View", I saw a cut of both Michelle Bachman and I believe, Representative Boehner being asked about this subject. It was from other sources. . Joy Behar got to work, that well preserved lady of modest virtue. From her tactic it should be now obvious what is going on with liberals.
Merely to take the President at his word, as to his birth and his religion is not enough. Not even daring to hem and haw about should be more proof, then he will be believed etc. There will be a frontal and nasty attack on anyone who takes the President at his word. Worse still, the defence of the First Amendment to the Constitution will bring on more vitriol.
It stands to reason that any citizen who is qualified has "the right to know". Merely saying they have this right, will bring on contempt and abrasive interviewing.
Either Alinsky of Big Brother (1984) is at work here. Edmund Burke is quoted as saying. "I may not believe in what you say, but I will defend to the death, your right to say it". Let's have more Burke and none of Alinsky.

Why doesn’t she say if the press dug as much on BO as they have on Palin, then this may not be an issue.
I'm probably hopelessly naive, but I don't think even Barack Obama could withstand indisputable proof (such as being a non-citizen) that he was not in fact eligible to be president and is holding the office illegally. Of course, he would take down an awful lot of powerful people with him which is why I believe he would be induced to resign ostensibly for other reasons well before, for instance, he is required to authorize Hawaii to produce the elusive long form.
Sorry, I did not write "natural born," but that is what I meant.

Wow! My opinion of Bachmann just plummeted. This was a GOLDEN opportunity to say “Well the president said the health law would reduce the deficit, but everyone knows it will not. The president also said it will bend the cost curve, but even the Medicare actuary says that isn’t true. The president promised that taxes on families under $250,000 would not go up “one dime” and that promise has been broken repeatedly.”

Issa will not get within a country mile of this issue, I think because they already know the truth of the matter.
Impossible for me to believe that no one in DC knows anything except Obama is just a blank slate that we are not interested in knowing about.
This will be a political football until some actual facts come out. All we have thus far are unsupported assertions from both sides, legally.
Getting it adjudicated is going to be a real pain.
