The federal government is requiring as many as 1,000 companies to turn over their employment records for inspection, part of an expanding crackdown on businesses suspected of hiring illegal immigrants, according to people close to the Department of Homeland Security.
The audits, which the government is expected to make public in the next few days, represent the biggest such operation since 2009. At that time, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, a DHS unit, conducted an auditing sweep of businesses working in public safety and national security.

This sounds good to me. If we eliminate a source legitimate funds from people who chose to not honor our borders and punish those who underwrite it, we have a good beginning.
Next up, find those mooching on the system and get rid of them too as I view public assistance as my employing someone and I don’t wish to underwrite illegal immigration.
Lastly, when we get to illegals doing illegal things, time to vacate them from the planet.
They just want to get them in so they can Register to vote Democrat in 2012....they won’t deport ANY Illegals, period.

Arizona made E-Verify mandatory for all companies operating in the state in 2008, whereas, the federal government is now following suit for illegal hire practices in other states?
The ONLY empirical PROOF for need of immigrant labor is skyrocketing wages above and beyond inflation. When’s the last time that happened by market forces......because the Federal Reserve considers 5% to be “full employment” and raises interest rates to KEEP wages from rising whenever the unemployment rate falls below 5%. They cause a recession, then wages fall and prices rise!
NO PATH TO CITIZENSHIP for illegal immigrants......the punishment for being illegal is that you NEVER can become a citizen and vote or bring in the rest of your family......
Will Americans really do the labor of farm workers, some of the service worker jobs? Not as long as government handouts remain a crutch.

Feds are also ignoring the wide open southern border.
The feds print ballots in spanish.
The feds raise taxes on businesses making it more difficult to pay American citizens with all the mandated federal requirements.
The illegals are in sanctuary cities and are out in the open and the feds turn a blind eye to the problem.

We’ll never know , probably.....but what happened after “open immigration” and the “Great Society” was an explosion of the fast food business because of the cheap meat and produce...lots of waste.....
liberals argue that lettuce will be $5 a head or more if we didn’t let in all the immigrants.....but I doubt it......
Because of all the cheap immigrant construction workers in AZ, houses got bigger not cheaper.....but wages froze as about 40% of construction workers became illegals....
Mexicans don’t come here because they’re poor but because they want to earn dollars to spend in Mexico....AZ has the busy winter season where lots of seasonal workers are needed and some can work here for less than 6 months a year and pay no taxes, then go back to Mexico and take the rest of the year off....like ice road truckers or something....how many of us only work 6 months out of the year? Since the 70s, it often takes a husband and wife BOTH working their tushes off to make ends meet.....

High school kids used to cut grass and bus tables but the pay is so bad nowadays, it doesn’t pay for a high school kid to work......
I love how liberals talk about the GLORY DAYS of 1945 to 1965 without admitting those were the years of closed immigration, the gold standard, no medicare tax and low ss tax, a standard deduction on income tax amounting to about $30k in today’s dollars, no environmental regs, no occupational safety standards,,,,,,no foreign competition from war decimation........

Well we don't know and doubt the mother part, and we know kids will choose to speak English, but parents choose not to--therefore, schools now have to hire truant officers and guidance teachers that speak Spanish. The reason being the parents whether they come into the school or a home visit is necessary--they cannot understand or write English. This requirement is not added to the job description, however; only when one makes the interview, does the person hiring add that criteria. When asked why it was not in the job description posted in newspapers, etc; as it wastes time on both sides..there has been no direct answer. So if you do not have Spanish in your background, a no hire.[The example I give was a Long Island school]The applicant was extremely educated, born in Iran, lived here since she was 13 (did not speak English when she arrived but quickly learned) and was told if she only spoke Spanish she would have been hired immediately.
A TV personality said the other day: why can't we attract the educated, the self sufficient--people that add to our society instead expecting to take away from it.
We have enough of Americans taking from society-the taxpayers.
Unless we could set up trading "players" [citizens] like in Baseball--I will trade you one American Lazy A manipulative welfare recipient for 1 hard working laborer from Mexico. Will do the trade at the border--picture like a political hostage exchange. ;)
