Christi?? Why he isn’t even a full term Governor, besides how many communities has he ever organized? s/. I like him, but he’d be the bull in the china shop if he was running. We have too many wimpy voters out there that will never vote for him. The same goes for Alan West, who I’d vote for over Palin and Romney et.al.. The masses don’t vote for substance, they vote as if it was American Idol. So far they have their Idol and the MSM will see to it that he remains in 1st Place.
A truer statement was never told.. that is IF Romney is the choice of most republicans.. I doubt that.. but according to some polls Romney is the choice for many..
I think our Annie just SHOCKED many into seeing the reality of the weighted polls..

Of course this means that WE need to be very thorough in vetting our candidate in the PRIMARY process (that's why I keep highlighting that word) because the PRIMARY process has started already.
Exactly.The question is, how do we cause the primaries to come out the way they need to, with a conservative who won't back down from important defensible positions to undefensible "moderate" positions.We do not wish to see anyone arbitrarily thin the field for us (not to Christie vs Romney, nor to any other de minimus subset of the potential primary field) - and yet, IMHO, we need to try something different that having beauty contest "debates" among more than a half-dozen hopefuls.
Internet technology holds the possibility of a promising answer. I say we get the hopefuls to conduct true one-on-one debates among every pair of hopefuls in the field. And post the results on the web. We don't need no stinking alphabet soup broadcasters - and we certainly don't need their "objective journalists" positioning themselves above the candidates in the process.

That's an awesome possibility. It's a little daunting in thinking through how we might actually get it to happen though, in real life. But it's sure worth thinking about.

I was around for Reagan and Palin is Reagan in High Heels! She is better looking, but Reagan was not in his prime.
