If Obama has line item veto then he can preserve all this progressive legislation. The main way the GOP can block Obama's agenda is by the House refusing to fund federal actions such as implementation of health care reform.
You can't line-item veto what isn't there.

But he can line item any attempt to repeal...like they just tried.
Agreed on the house comment...that is a tool for the GOP to currently use but we don’t need to give Obama any more power.
