FWIW my pal and I both applied for Soc.Sec.#’s in Conn., in ‘74, so we could get part time jobs (as 16 yr. olds). We both mailed our applications, at the same time, in the same mailbox. Consistent with the information in the article, his number began with 046, and mine began with 048. We had to send our applications to Boston, by the way. Not sure if this adds any value to the conversation, just a footnote. Also, State Sen. Mike McLachlan (R-CT), who is coming under heavy fire for introducing a so called “Birther Bill” was our classmate. To top it off, Orly Taitz, and I work in the same town (RSM, CA).
