Just a guess, but sounds like they have a bunch of candy asses that can't handle a .45.

Honestly, Kimber has been having serious quality control problems across their model line in recent years. One firearm may meet the highest standard Kimber has, and the exact same model a few hundred serial numbers in sequence later may have parts so wildly out of spec that the safety isn’t even blocking the sear. Kimber is blowing people off when they report problem guns. That’s scandalous, and its not news to those who have been following Kimber’s reputation over the last few years.
