Egypt: Preview of America in 2015
National Inflation Association ^ | 2/3/2011 | Staff

Posted on 02/06/2011 8:50:44 AM PST by FromLori

The rioting and looting currently taking place in Egypt is primarily a result of massive food inflation and shows what all major cities in the United States will likely look like come year 2015 due to the Federal Reserve's zero percent interest rates and quantitative easing to infinity. On December 16th, 2009, NIA named Time Magazine's 2009 'Person of the Year' Ben Bernanke our 'Villain of the Year', saying he created "unprecedented amounts of inflation in unprecedented ways" and "When it costs $20 for a gallon of milk in a few years, Americans will have nobody to thank more than Bernanke."

What started out a few weeks ago as protests in Algeria with citizens chanting "Bring Us Sugar!" and five citizens being killed, quickly spread to civil unrest in Tunisia which saw 14 more civilian deaths, and has now spread to riots in Egypt where 300 Egyptian citizens have been killed. Food inflation in Egypt has reached 20% and citizens in the nation already spend about 40% of their monthly expenditures on food. Americans for decades have been blessed with cheap food, spending only 13% of their expenditures on food, but this is about to change.

NIA was the first to predict the recent explosion in agricultural commodity prices in our October 30th, 2009, article entitled, "U.S. Inflation to Appear Next in Food and Agriculture", which said we have a "perfect storm for an explosion in agriculture prices". A couple of months later in 'NIA's Top 10 Predictions for 2010' we predicted "Major Food Shortages" and said, "Inventories of agricultural products are the lowest they have been in decades yet the prices of many agricultural commodities are down 70% to 80% from their all time highs adjusted for real inflation".

For the doubters, remember that in our cities, people call 911 when McDonalds runs out of McNuggets!

It was all about saving the TBTF banks AND Fannie/Freddie. I hope Bernanke is hounded and humiliated every remaining day of his life for what he is inflicting on us and the rest of the world.

Yes. It is about the failure of socialist-style banking, including central banking, the ultimate socialist-banking system.

The Bernank has no intention to stop printing what a sham this headline is there’s been no improvement in jobs but anyway this shows his intentions.

That is an excellent idea a fellow last year was looking for land to rent for a truck garden said he put himself through college doing that and wanted to teach his kids. If I hadn’t already made a deal for hay at the time I would have done it. We still have plenty of room for our own garden anyway.

We plan to be gardening our own land and raising our chickens. When bread hits $23 per loaf I will still be making it for 50 cents. We feel sorry for the people we know who don’t have a clue. A lot of our friends think its very amusing that we are getting ready to move to the mountains, buy a house with land and install an alternative electrical system. Oh and I forgot, iron gates.

The Bernank is a Marxist enabler his monetization of our debt allows the socialist spending to continue. While the big global banks that supported Acorn make out like Bandits and our dollar is devalued, and savers take it in the rear.

Investors, 401k’s, pension funds of course already took big losses from the crooks selling MBS’s those same big global banks filled them up with. You might say The Bernank and his handlers like lifelong democrat Lloyd Blankfein and Jamie Demon are evil genius’s.
